The very best tuner TV Card is the Hauppauge Colossus 2 PCI. Requiring just a single PCIe x1 or x16 slot, the feature-rich Colossus 2 is capable of recording videos directly from cable TV, satellite receivers and DVRs, as well as PlayStation 3/4 or the Xbox One or 360. Capture Video from capture card, tv tuner, dv cam, dvd player to AVI or WMV 9, WMV8 file format.Draw multi overlay image, text on live video or save to video file. Support motion detection, drawing freehand line, circle, rectangle, add video frames.
You have to decide which tuner TYPE you have ...
As the software you download will have to be compatible with your tuner card.
You could end up in a nightmare situation not knowing why your downloaded software will not work, when in actual fact it could never work because it is not compatible.
This will give you an idea of the range available:

TV Tuner
You'll need to check if it's on the list of supported TV cards, but I', a huge fan of GBPVR http://www.gbpvr.com/
It's an entire media center application that kicks MC's butt. I've been a user for four years now and it keeps getting better.

That looks really interesting ..
I've never seen or heard of that one before - I'll have a try and let you know what I think.
For the last couple of years I've been running SHOWSHIFTER 3.12. It's a fully fledged media centre, handling Digital TV, Digital Radio, PVR, MP3 Jukebox, with broadcast-capture Channel Guide. It'll also handle external DVDs and CDs, and runs with my Twinhan 3056 Hybrid Tuner Card remote control too.
The thing about ShowShifter is that the Company that developed it went belly-up some time ago so strictly speaking, the product is not commercially available any longer and does not have any further official online support.
However, the internet being what it is - ShowShifter isn't hard to find.

Antique Card
This is a pretty old card and per the AMD/ATI driver page, the latest driver was released in 2001.
From the age of the card, it most likely has only analog tuner functions. You will not be able to tune in HDTV or digital signals with this card.
I also observed that there is not a download for the ATI media center for this older card.
I myself would spend some money for a newer card or a digital ready TV tuner USB device.
